What is b05?

B05, or Blue Zero Five, is Phil's SWAT Callsign.

After a one year probation on the SWAT team, and passing an assessment, the team member is officially welcomed to the team as a full member and awarded their SWAT pin. This honor was bestowed on Phil just 28 hours before he was shot. 

With his passing, the LPD SWAT team has officially retired the B05 callsign permanently in Phil's honor.

The Phil Wagner Foundation is a non-profit that was formed in the wake of Phil's death. It was started by a few knuckle-dragging SWAT teammates of Phil's that just wanted a vehicle to ensure Phil's memory lived on. The Foundation directly supports the families of fallen officers, with its current focus being the Wagner family. Everyone who works with the Foundation is an unpaid volunteer, so there are no salaries cutting into the money donated. 

Phil Wagner Foundation is based out of Lorain, Ohio. 501C3 status is applied for and pending.
